What texts we send, how often, and how to stop.
The HomewardText texts
When you agree on our sign-up form, we text you about your HomewardText account. That includes messages from the person you're connecting with, and updates about your service, like your confirmation, trial reminders, pause notices and billing notices. We don't send ads.
How you agree
- You sign up on homewardtext.com/signup with your own mobile number and tick the box to get texts. The box is never ticked for you, and you don't have to tick it to sign up.
- We send you one text to confirm.
- Nothing else comes until you reply YES.
Only the person who owns a number can sign it up. A person inside can't sign up a family member's number.
How often
Message frequency varies. It depends on how often you and the person inside write.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply, based on your mobile plan. Your HomewardText plan price is separate.
Your two numbers
Homeward Helper uses its own number. Messages sent to your HomewardText number go to your loved one exactly as you wrote them, and the helper never reads them.
Words you can reply
| Reply | What it does |

| YES or START | Confirms you want texts, or starts them again after you stopped. |
| STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT | Stops all texts from that number. We send one last text to confirm. |
| HELP or INFO | Sends you help and how to reach us. |
| PERSON | Gets you a person. This word works on your Homeward Helper number only. |
YES, START, STOP, STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, HELP and INFO work on both your HomewardText number and your Homeward Helper number.
Replying STOP stops texts. It doesn't cancel your plan. To cancel, go to homewardtext.com/account.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
